George and Gwen’s Memories

Welcome to the private online digital collection of George and Gwendolyn Hunt’s photos of themselves, their family, and their friends. These photos are archived and maintained by me, their grandson, Jeremy Hunt.

Each album attempts to maintain the order and structure of the physical albums that contained the photos. Where possible, notes from the albums and the backs of photos were added to the metadata of the digital versions. If an image contains metadata it will be displayed by mousing over the image. The metadata tagging is ongoing and currently only the “Lloyd George Hunt” album is complete.

Additionally, if the album was from a physical album book, photos of each page of the intact album follow the high-resolution digital scans. Most albums were in a state of degradation with the adhesive yellowing and failing so some photos were not in their original place. As such, some notes will likely not be able to be reconstructed by me without some historical information. For some unknown reason, Gwen’s number system was disregarded or there are other photo albums being held by other family members. The numbered albums in my possession are 1, 5, 9, and 10. If anyone has photos and would like them added to this archive, I’d be happy to scan and return them. Just email me by clicking this link.
